Electrical Safety and Skills Instructor

Rozel is seeking electricians, technical instructors, or safety professionals who are familiar with NFPA 70e® electrical safety requirements with teaching experience in the electrical trades.
Thanks to rapidly expanding instructional opportunities, Rozel Electrical Safety has several openings for talented Electrical Safety Instructors. Our instructors teach electrical safe work practices according to the NFPA70E and OSHA at the clients’ work locations across the United States. We are looking for people who have a background in electrical work and are comfortable and upbeat while presenting to adults. If you love traveling, seeing different companies, meeting new people, and educating adults on important topics, this could be a great job for you!
The candidate may reside anywhere within the United States but should be close to a major airport
Position Summary
- The Electrical Safety Instructor position is responsible for teaching Electrical Safety following National Fire Protection Association Standard 70e® and Applicable OSHA regulations to Rozel clients.
- This position requires extensive travel, but the candidate will work from home when not in the field
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide instruction and hands-on training to create an engaging learning experience.
• Teach assigned classes in accordance with the BCH lesson plans.
• Plan and schedule with clients to provide training.
• Stay current in subject matter through professional development.
• Contribute to the development of instructional materials in accordance with BCH course objectives to ensure an engaging learning experience.
• Perform other professional duties to support instruction as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on field experience in the electrical or safety trades.
- Previous teaching or public speaking experience.
- Working knowledge and field experience in NFPA 70e® electrical safety and Arc Flash 70e® requirements.
- NFPA Electrical Safety Compliance Professional certification preferred
- Current driver’s license.
Skills/Abilities
• Ability to travel on a consistent basis within the United States
• Ability to interface with the Sales Department concerning customization of training
• Proficiency in PowerPoint Presentations
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bilingual a plus, but not required
• Ability to function independently in a highly efficient manner
• Computer literacy (Windows, MS Office)
• Proficient in public speaking for delivery of course materials
